One thing I don’t do is blog about work.  It’s not because I am afraid that I am going to get fired or whatever. I felt that I spend enough time at work, I don’t need to talk about it at home. :) 

But changing job is a big deal and I don’t do it as often as most, so I decided to blog about it.

People often ask me why I am leaving Plaxo. Here’s the reason, it’s time to move on. Plaxo is a wonderful place to work. The people are smart, friendly, and interesting.  In addition, it is a very support environment for knitters. :)

But, sometime it is just time to go.  I have been here for two and half years.  It’s time to move on and see something different. 

Why Ning?  Well, I didn’t seek out Ning. It just kind of happened.  It has an interesting concept, and it would be fun to try something different.

In addition, I will be working downtown Palo Alto.  I really miss working down town. I miss being able to walk out the building and go shopping. (Ok, it could cause quite a dent to my wallet, but still.) The only thing that’s missing downtown is a yarn store! What gives PA? Wheres the local yarn store!?

So, June 20th is my last day at Plaxo.  I will miss all the friends I made a Plaxo but also looking forward to start something new!
